Jen Lavella is the Director of Marketing and Communications at Maryland Legal Aid. She specializes in strategic marketing, internal and external communications, branding, and community engagement. Jen graduated from Hofstra University and holds a B.S. in Professional Studies. She serves as Vice Chair of Baltimore Public Media’s Community Advisory Board and volunteers for various community groups in Harford County. Her previous experience includes event management, development/fundraising, public programming, and audience development for both private and nonprofit organizations. Outside of work, Jen enjoys spending time with her wife and children, live music, photography, sunsets, and beach trips.
