Important Update on Hiring

Due to the current uncertainty surrounding critical federal funding, we have made the difficult decision to implement a temporary hiring freeze with very limited exceptions. This measure is necessary to ensure the long-term stability of our organization and maintain our commitment to delivering vital legal services.

While this decision reflects the challenges posed by an unpredictable federal funding environment, please rest assured that our dedication to providing high-quality, high impact legal assistance for low-income and vulnerable Marylanders remains unwavering. We continue to serve our community with the utmost care and professionalism supported by MLSC and other state and local funders, and we are actively exploring strategies to sustain our vital programs even as federal funding remains uncertain.
