Chelsea Ortega joined the Maryland Legal Aid Board of Directors in 2023. She currently serves as the Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. Chelsea is a partner at the law firm, Santoni, Vocci & Ortega, LLC, helping tenants and consumers. She has been a member of the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service Board of Directors since 2022. Chelsea is the Maryland State Chair for the National Association of Consumer Advocates and serves on the Innovations in Tiered Legal Services Task Force. For the duration of her career, she has consistently provided pro bono services, offering her professional skills and guidance to individuals without charge.
