Shannon Weaver is a Supervising Attorney at Maryland Legal Aid in the Baltimore City Child Advocacy Unit. She specializes in Child In Need of Assistance (CINA) cases, representing children and young adults in the foster care system, and has also represented youth and parents in CINA cases across Prince George’s, Montgomery, Harford, and Baltimore Counties. Her work is inspired by helping children and families in need. Shannon graduated from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2006 and holds a degree in History from Pennsylvania State University, earned in 2003, where she was a member of the Schreyer Honors College. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Baltimore Ravens and traveling with her family, particularly to the Western U.S.
