Jennifer W.R. Schauffler is the Director of Grants, Contracts and Compliance at Maryland Legal Aid. Jennifer leads the Grants, Contracts and Compliance team as they seek, implement and monitor grants and contracts that support the life-changing civil legal services that Maryland Legal Aid provides. Jennifer graduated from the Graduate School of Education at Harvard University with an Ed.M. in International Education. She also has a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Delaware, where she was a Harry S. Truman Scholar. Jennifer’s professional expertise is in nonprofit management, grants and contracts administration, compliance, risk management, philanthropy, fundraising and program implementation. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys time with her German Shorthaired Pointer, Daisy, 13 chickens (well, one rooster and 12 hens), and her family, including her husband and two grown children and their partners.
